Dandyism is all about extreme style. The pervasive extremities of this ensemble are characteristic of everything dandy: pattern-on-pattern, colour combinations, and overstated accessories. The combination of plaid-on-gingham in two very contrasting colours speaks volumes of the dandy's daring take on fashion, while the horn-rimmed glasses, snakeskin gloves, and riding boots show a great deal of excessiveness.

Rudy -- the mixing of texture and print is one of my favorite things to do. You have created yet another smashing outfit. Wonderful color combination. Your suit jacket is fab and is brilliant with the gingham and the bow tie. I am wracking my brain for a color combo for spring. So far I have come up with "something and black". Thanks for your insight and sense of fun in fashion.
