Milan Menswear: Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010

Burberry Prorsum has always represented the epitome of the modern Englishman and Christopher Bailey's take on this collection is no exception. The focus this season was outerwear in all shapes and forms: the eponymous Burberry trench was shown in mustard yellow and drab olive, accented with tans, ivories, and beiges; leather shearlings, wool overcoats, and fur-lined boots all took the helm of the collection; the trousers and knits reinforced Bailey's rapport with simplicity; and gold embellishments spoke volumes of his undivided attention to exquisite detailing.
